A book you have finished is a book somebody is waiting for.
Most books are read once and then sit on a shelf for a decade. GyanSetu moves them — from your shelf to a reader who wants them, carried by the same riders and the same centres that move our meals. Free to send, free to receive, and the book is theirs to keep.
Textbooks, novels, children's books, exam guides, anything in readable condition. Send one or send a hundred — there is no cap, and no charge at either end.
Two doors, same bridge.
Share books
- Open the Setu app and choose GyanSetu → Share Books.
- Say roughly how many you have. There is no limit — a single novel or an entire shelf.
- A verified rider comes to your door and takes them away. You do not need boxes or bags; we bring what is needed.
- They are sorted and condition-checked at a licensed centre, then listed for readers nearby.
Get a book
- Open the Setu app and choose GyanSetu → Get a Book.
- Pick what you want from what is on the shelf. Add as many as you like — same delivery either way.
- A rider brings them to your door, free.
- Nothing to return. The book is yours to keep, pass on, or send back through GyanSetu when you are done with it.
There is no catch, and no small print.
Free to send and free to receive. No handling fee, no delivery charge, no membership needed.
Send one book or clear a whole cupboard. Ask for one or ask for ten — it is the same delivery.
This is not a library. Nothing is due back, and nobody will chase you for it.
Live across the city on the same rider network and the same three licensed centres as AnnSetu.
The engine did not need rebuilding.
Moving surplus food within the hour is the hardest version of this problem — it spoils, it needs a cold chain, and it has to arrive today. Once that works, a book is easy. Same app, same riders, same centres, same record for every item: the only thing that changed is what is in the container.
That is the whole idea behind Setu. Build the bridge once, then carry whatever the city is throwing away that somebody else still needs.
Clear a shelf this week.
Open the app, tap Share Books, and a rider will be at your door. Somebody in this city is looking for exactly the book you have stopped reading.
